What areas an be treated?

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment. The most commonly treated areas include the face and neck, loose skin of the arms, any area with excessive fat areas, legs, abdomen and active acne.

How many treatments will I need?

Your provider will customize a specific treatment plan based on your needs. Majority of patients average a series of 3 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.

What is the benefit of Fractional Energy?

Fractionated RF energy is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles and rebuild collagen and fat. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.

What should I expect during treatment?

Our number one goal is to provide you with a comfortable experience. Most patients will require a topical anesthetic that is applied to your specific treatment area 1 hour prior to your Morpheus 8 treatment. This is to minimize the sensation of the microneedles and radiofrequent energy pulses. Once the topical anesthetic is removed, the provider will place the applicator tip against the skin for a few seconds while the microneedles and energy are released in a stamping technique. This is repeated across the treatment area until the completed.  Some patients will require use of our Pro-Nox™ machine in addition to the topical anesthetic. The Pro-Nox™ Aesthetic System uses a 50/50 combination of inhaled oxygen and nitrous oxide to provide fast-acting pain relief. Nitrous, commonly known as laughing gas, is one of the oldest sedatives in medicine. While it is not a replacement for anesthesia, it does complement and enhance the effects of topical anesthetics. If additional pain medication is required, this will be discussed and prescribed prior to the treatment. The patient WILL need a driver with them in the office if using any pain medication or anxiolytic medication.

What kind of post-procedure care is required?

Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.

When can I put make-up on after treatment?

Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.

Can I combine Morpheus8® with any other procedure?

Yes! We recommend the Trilogy Trifecta! The Trilogy Trifecta combines the Morpheus 8, Forma, and Lumecca as one package. The combination of all three procedures will leave your skin glowing, tightened, bright, and more youthful. Patients will start the trifecta with the Morpheus 8 treatment, the Forma skin tightening in 2 weeks and finish the Trifecta with the Lumecca 2 weeks after the Forma.
